Conduct & Behaviour

Little Athletics NSW believes that young people involved in sport have a right to participate in a safe and supportive environment. Little Athletics is also an inclusive community activity that promotes the message of ‘Family, Fun, and Fitness’. We want everyone involved to have a really positive experience in our sport and so endorse the following Codes of Conduct and Behaviour Guidelines.

Morgan Landers from the Not On My Watch Organisation presented this workshop at the 2020 LANSW virtual conference and covered the topic of managing side-line misconduct in sport.

It is important that all grassroots sports clubs are well equipped with the knowledge and resources to help foster a positive culture in their community. This includes the need to know how to best handle and respond to complaints from their members and personnel, which could involve both on and off-’field’ behaviour.
