Child Protection
Little Athletics NSW is committed to the safety and well-being of all children and young people involved in Little Athletics. The rights of children are fundamental and ingrained in all our practices.
The below policies and resources provide Little Athletics members guidance to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Working With Children Check
The Working with Children Check (WWCC) applies to adults who work with children or are engaged in volunteer roles involving children (under 18 years of age).
The WWCC helps to protect children from sexual or physical harm by checking a person’s criminal history for serious sexual, serious violence or serious drug offences and findings from certain professional disciplinary bodies.
